The primary challenge in building this kitchen was ensuring the visual quality and durability of the work area, which is divided into three zones (Prep, Refrigerator, and Cooking). The use of white cement as the primary countertop and wall material required great care due to its susceptibility to microcracking and staining.
The solution was a meticulous multi-stage finishing process. After applying white cement to the base cabinets and work areas, the entire surface was coated with a high-quality, food-grade epoxy. This epoxy coating not only provides superior protection against scratches, heat, and moisture, but also creates a hygienic, smooth, and extremely easy-to-clean surface, ensuring a durable, modern aesthetic that aligns with the kitchen's zoning concept.
